Scope
This part of GB/T 35465 specifies the terms and definitions for statistical analysis of fatigue data for linear or linearized stress-life (S-N) and strain-life (ε-N), S-N and ε-N curve types, specimens, statistical analysis, etc. This part is applicable to the statistical analysis of stress-life (S-N) and strain-life (ε-N) relationships that are approximately linear within a specific stress or strain range. This part is not recommended for use in the following two cases: a) extrapolating S-N and ε-N curves outside the test range; b) conducting fatigue life statistical analysis at a confidence level higher than 95% under a specific stress or strain amplitude.
