Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, fabric surface defect scoring, test methods, inspection rules, and marking and packaging of combed polyester-cotton blended fabrics in natural colors.
This standard applies to combed polyester-cotton blended fabrics in natural colors produced by shuttle looms and shuttleless looms with a polyester content of 50% or more.
This standard does not apply to jacquard fabrics.
