Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions for the simulation test of aerobic biodegradation of chemicals in surface water, the information on the test materials, the test principle, the reference substances, an overview of the test methods, the test procedures, quality assurance and quality control, and data and reports. This standard is applicable to evaluating the aerobic biodegradation process of low-concentration non-volatile or low-volatile organic chemicals (including radioisotope markers or non-markers) in natural water bodies. This standard can be used to simulate and determine the biodegradability of chemicals in surface water without coarse particles or in turbid surface water.
