Scope

This standard specifies the method outline, test preparation, test procedures, quality assurance and quality control, data and reporting for the improvement of the rapid biodegradability of chemicals according to the MITI test (I). This standard applies to the rapid biodegradability of water-soluble or poorly water-soluble, adsorptive, volatile or non-volatile chemicals.
