GB/T 23798-2009 Surveillance methods for vector density—Rodent

Scope

This standard specifies the methods for monitoring rodent density, including the sticky mouse board method, the trap-night method, the powder trail method, the bait theft method, the rodent trail method, the hole blocking and theft detection method, and the visual inspection method.
This standard is applicable to the monitoring of rodent species and rodent density. Among them, the sticky mouse board method and the powder trail method are suitable for monitoring indoor rodent density; the hole blocking and theft detection method is suitable for monitoring outdoor rodent density; the trap-night method and the rodent trail method are suitable for monitoring rodent density in both indoor and outdoor environments; the bait theft method is suitable for monitoring sewer rodent density; and the visual inspection method is suitable for monitoring marmot density.
