Scope

This standard applies to the seismic design of outdoor water supply, drainage, and gas and heat engineering facilities in areas with a seismic fortification intensity of 6 to 9. For seismic design of projects with a seismic fortification intensity higher than 9 or with special seismic requirements, the design shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of special research. Note: In the following provisions of this standard, the phrase "seismic fortification intensity" is generally omitted, and "seismic fortification intensity of 6 degrees, 7 degrees, 8 degrees, and 9 degrees" is simply referred to as "6 degrees, 7 degrees, 8 degrees, and 9 degrees".
