Scope

This standard specifies the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method for determining the residues of glyphosate (PMG) and its degradation product aminomethylphosphonic acid (AMPA) in plant products.
This standard is applicable to the detection and confirmation of the residues of glyphosate and its degradation product aminomethylphosphonic acid in plant products such as grains (soybean, wheat) and fruits (sugarcane, oranges).
The limit of quantification (LOQ) of this standard is 0.05 mg/kg.
