Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for household kitchen oil stain cleaners. This standard applies to detergent products made from surfactants, additives, and solvents, which are used for cleaning and removing stains from hard surfaces in kitchens, such as stoves and range hoods. This standard does not apply to cleaners that remove oil stains through friction, such as stain removal powders. This standard does not apply to the cleaning of food utensils that come into direct contact with food, such as the inner surfaces of pots and pans.
