Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, order content, technical requirements, inspection and testing, acceptance methods, packaging, marking, transportation, storage, and quality certificates for carburized steel wires subjected to isothermal heat treatment. This document is applicable to carburized steel wires with a carbon content of 0.32% to 0.90% and a diameter of 0.80mm to 16.00mm, which have undergone isothermal heat treatment using quenching media such as lead solution, salt solution, and water-soluble organic substances. The isothermal heat-treated wire rods can be implemented in accordance with this document.
