GB/Z 29014.5-2024 Cutting tool data representation and exchange—Part 5:Reference dictionary for assembly items

Scope

This document specifies a reference dictionary for assembly items and their described characteristics and value ranges. The reference dictionary defined in this document includes: -- Definitions and identifiers of assembly item classes and related classification schemes; -- Definitions and identifiers of data element types representing assembly item characteristics; -- Definitions and identifiers of value ranges for the aforementioned data element types. Each class, characteristic, or value range in this application domain is considered a reference dictionary entry defined in this document. It is associated with computer-readable and human-readable definitions, as well as computer-identifiable identifiers. The identifiers of dictionary entries can be unambiguously referenced from any application that implements the information model defined in GB/Z 29014.1. The definitions and identifiers of dictionary entries are defined in standard data formats, consisting of instances of EXPRESS entity data types defined in common dictionary schemas. This was achieved through joint efforts between ISO/TC184/SC4 and IEC SC3D, and extensions defined in ISO 13584–24 and ISO 13584–25. This document applies to: -- Standard data representing various cutting tool assembly item classes; -- Standard data representing various cutting tool assembly item characteristics; -- Standard data representing value ranges for cutting tool assembly item characteristics; -- Implementation methods for exchanging the standard data defined in this document.
