Scope: This standard specifies the breed sources and characteristics, physical appearance, production performance, measurement methods, and basic requirements for breeding of Eastern piglets. This standard applies to Eastern piglets; Main technical content: 3. Breed sources and characteristics: Eastern piglets are a local pig population formed through long-term selection and breeding by farmers in Dongfang City. They are characterized by strong adaptability and resistance to high temperatures, high humidity, and cold environments. 4. Physical appearance characteristics: Eastern piglets belong to the fat type, with advantages such as early maturity, easy fattening, thin skin and tender meat, gentle temperament, and strong reproductive ability. The pig's body color is black and white, with more white than black. Most of them have black heads, backs, and tails, and white underbellies, sides, limbs, and necks. They are characterized by small body size, small ears, and "three short and one curved" (i.e., short tails, legs, and mouth, and curved backs). 5.
