Scope

This document describes three test methods for determining the average pore size of rigid foam plastics by counting the number of pore wall intersections within the required length: Method A (projector method), Method B (optical microscope method), and Method C (scanning electron microscope method).
This document is applicable to the determination of the average pore size of rigid foam plastics. The determination of the average pore size of other types of foam plastics should be carried out in accordance with the relevant guidelines.
