Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for geothermal turbines (hereinafter referred to as geothermal turbines) and their main auxiliary equipment, including terminology and definitions, technical requirements, testing and inspection, etc.
This standard applies to fixed-type geothermal turbines that use geothermal fluids as working fluids to drive generators.
This standard does not apply to the following geothermal turbines:
a) Two-phase flow rotary turbines that directly use geothermal fluids as working fluids.
b) Turbines that use geothermal fluids to heat low-boiling-point organic working fluids as working fluids.
