Scope

This document specifies a general algorithm for calculating the stopping/deceleration distance of the braking system and the braking power and energy corresponding to the braking distance, using average values as input.
This document is applicable to the calculation of braking force generated by general types of braking systems.
This document is not applicable to the calculation of stopping braking distance under conditions exceeding the available adhesion level (wheel slip).
