Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, inspection conditions, inspection methods, marking and packaging of depth micrometers (excluding electronic digital display depth micrometers).
This standard applies to scale readings and digital readings depth micrometers with a division value of 0.01 mm, 0.005 mm, and 0.001 mm, a micrometer head measuring range of 25 mm and 50 mm, and a maximum measurement range of up to 300 mm (excluding electronic digital display depth micrometers).
