Scope

1.0.1 This procedure is formulated to standardize the use of rebound testers to detect the compressive strength of ordinary concrete and ensure the accuracy of the test results. 1.0.2 This procedure is applicable to the detection of the compressive strength of ordinary concrete (hereinafter referred to as "concrete strength"), but it is not suitable for the detection of concrete strength with obvious differences between the surface and internal quality or with internal defects. 1.0.3 Personnel conducting tests using the rebound method should undergo specialized technical training. 1.0.4 The rebound method for detecting concrete strength shall comply not only with this procedure but also with the provisions of the current relevant national standards.
