GB/T 21086-2007 Curtain wall for building

Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, marking, general requirements, and special requirements of building curtain walls, as well as test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage. This standard applies to component-type curtain walls, unit-type curtain walls, and double-layer curtain walls made of glass, stone, metal panels, and artificial boards as cladding materials. It also applies to all-glass curtain walls and point-supported glass curtain walls. Lighting roofs, metal roofs, decorative curtain walls, and other building curtain walls can be used as reference. This standard does not apply to concrete slab curtain walls, decorative systems where panels are directly adhered to the exterior walls of main structures, or exterior wall dry-hanging systems without supporting frames.
