Scope
This standard specifies the energy efficiency limits, energy-saving evaluation values, energy efficiency grades, test methods, and inspection rules for hydrogen production systems using water electrolysis (hereinafter referred to as hydrogen production systems). This standard applies to fixed or mobile hydrogen production systems with a water electrolysis cell structure of bipolar, pressure filtration, or pressure type, with an output of ≥5 m3/h. This standard does not apply to hydrogen production equipment using atmospheric pressure water electrolysis, small-scale hydrogen production equipment with an output of <5 m3/h, solid polymer electrolyte electrolysis cells (SPE), and hydrogen-oxygen generators.
