Scope

Scope: This document specifies the technical requirements and net content, inspection rules, packaging, transportation, and storage for "Fusong Ginseng" ginseng flowers. This document is applicable to the quality assessment of primary agricultural products, ginseng flowers. Main technical content: 4. Technical requirements 4.1 The grade shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. Table 1: Quality grade items for ginseng flowers First grade Second grade Third grade Inspection method Appearance Umbrella-shaped inflorescence, green, gray-green, or yellow-green, without mold or insect damage. Take an appropriate sample and place it in a clean white porcelain plate. Observe its appearance under natural light, smell its aroma, rinse with warm water, and taste its flavor. Complete inflorescence with a diameter ≤2.5cm, uniform in size, with a few scattered flowers and flower buds. Open flower buds ≤10%. Mostly intact with size variations, a few scattered flowers and flower buds, and open flower buds ≥10% to 30%. Partially incomplete with obvious size variations, visible majority of flowers, some scattered flowers and flower buds, and open flower buds ≥30%. Stem ≤2.5cm Taste and aroma Slightly bitter and sweet, with a fresh aroma. 4.2 Physicochemical indicators shall comply with the provisions of Table 2.
