Scope

This document specifies the characteristics of the conical shape, the tank-shaped shape, the spherical shape of the navigational aids displayed in China's maritime areas, the top mark features of the "X" and "X" shapes, and the shape requirements of cylindrical buoys, rod-shaped buoys, and articulated light stakes.
This document is applicable to all buoys (excluding light ships, large navigational buoys, and ice-season buoys) and fixed underwater markers in China's maritime areas and their ports and estuaries.
