Scope
This standard provides implementation guidelines for conducting risk assessments of machinery in accordance with GB/T 15706-2012, and describes various methods and tools related to each step of the process. This standard is intended to be used for risk assessments of the complexity and potential hazards of a wide range of machines, and provides examples of different risk reduction measures. The intended users of this standard are those involved in integrating safety into the design, installation, or improvement of machinery (for example, designers, technicians, and safety experts). Appendix A provides specific examples of applying risk assessment and risk reduction processes.
