Scope

This standard specifies a method for measuring air permeability. This standard is applicable to cigarette papers, forming papers, tipping papers, and materials with intermittent or continuous air permeability zones whose air permeability measurement values exceed 10 cm3/(min·cm2) under a pressure difference of 1 kPa. In addition, this method is also applicable to strip-shaped cigarette papers with an air permeability bandwidth greater than 4 mm.
