Scope

This standard specifies the conductivity requirements of electromagnetic shielding materials and the measurement requirements of the contact resistance between metal materials, as well as the test system requirements, the calibration and validity confirmation of the test system, and the measurement methods. Electromagnetic shielding materials may include, but are not limited to, conductive foam, springs, metal wire mesh, conductive fabrics, conductive rubber (excluding the shielding body itself), etc. This standard applies to the measurement of the conductivity of electromagnetic shielding materials and the contact resistance between metal materials in the frequency range of 30 MHz to 1 GHz.
