Scope

This document specifies the test items, test procedures, and methods of presenting test results for pneumatic pressure-reducing valves and filter pressure-reducing valves in commercial documents according to GB/T 20081.1.
The purpose of this document is to:
——Standardize the test procedures and methods of presenting test results, so that the performance comparison between different pressure-reducing valves and filter pressure-reducing valves can be simple and clear;
——Help to rationally apply pressure-reducing valves and filter pressure-reducing valves in pneumatic systems.
The test items specified in this document are for comparison among different pneumatic pressure-reducing valves and filter pressure-reducing valves, rather than for conducting production inspections on every manufactured pneumatic pressure-reducing valve and filter pressure-reducing valve.
Note 1: The related tests for electro-pneumatic pressure control valves are specified in ISO 10094-2.
Note 2: Another dynamic test method for test flow is specified in ISO 6953-3. This method uses an isothermal gas tank instead of a flow meter, and it is only suitable for testing the decreasing part of the hysteresis curve of forward flow and overflow flow characteristics.
