Scope

This regulation applies to the design, construction, acceptance, and maintenance of energy dissipation and seismic isolation for new and existing building structures in areas with seismic fortification intensities of 6 to 9. For new and existing building structures in areas with seismic fortification intensities greater than 9 and those with special requirements, the design, construction, acceptance, and maintenance of energy dissipation and seismic isolation shall be carried out in accordance with relevant special provisions.
