Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements for self-monitoring by units discharging pollutants in the coal processing industry during the production of synthesis gas and liquid fuels, the formulation of monitoring plans, and the basic contents and requirements for information recording and reporting. This standard applies to units discharging pollutants in the coal processing industry during the production and operation phase, including water and air pollutants, noise, and the impact on the surrounding environmental quality. For units producing synthesis gas and liquid fuels, the self-monitoring of polluting facilities and emission outlets that comply with GB 31572 shall be carried out in accordance with HJ 947; for self-owned thermal power generators (plants) and supporting power boilers, the self-monitoring shall be carried out in accordance with HJ 820; and for solid waste incineration facilities, the self-monitoring shall be carried out in accordance with HJ 1205.
