Scope
This specification stipulates the basic requirements for the design of oil and chemical pipeline frame structures, loads and earthquake effects, pipeline frame calculations, pipeline frame structure designs, and pipe pier designs, etc. This specification applies to the design of pipeline frames and pipe piers in oil and chemical engineering and coal chemical engineering projects. This specification does not apply to the design of pipelines themselves as load-bearing structures or other large-scale crossing pipeline frames over rivers and streams.
