Scope
This standard specifies the process flow and requirements for the classification, characterization, collection, packaging, transfer, and temporary storage of low- and medium-level solid waste generated during the decommissioning of production stacks. This standard applies to the pretreatment of low- and medium-level solid waste during the decommissioning of production stacks. The decommissioning of other stacks can be implemented with reference to this standard.
