Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, storage, packaging, and transportation requirements for general castings of high-temperature pressure-bearing martensitic stainless steels and alloy steels. This standard is applicable to cast valves, flanges, and pipe fittings used under operating temperatures not exceeding 600°C. Other high-temperature pressure-bearing castings can be used for reference.
