Scope

This part of GB/T 32260 specifies the specimen dimensions, sampling requirements, test procedures, and evaluation methods for the following self-restraint cold crack tests: -- CTS (controlled thermal stress) test; -- T-notch (oblique Y-notch) or U-notch (U-notch) test. This part is mainly applicable to (but not limited to) the evaluation of cold crack sensitivity in carbon steel and low-alloy steel welding.
