This document specifies the equipment, reagents, and methods used in the neutral salt spray (NSS), acetic acid salt spray (AASS), and copper-accelerated acetic acid salt spray (CASS) tests to evaluate the resistance to galvanic corrosion at the joints and bonded structures between carbon fiber reinforced polymer composites (CFRPs) and metal materials under the condition of temporary or intermittent insulating currents.
