GB 17691-2018 Limits and measurement methods for emissions from diesel fuelled heavy-duty vehicles（China VI）

Scope

This standard specifies the emission limits and test methods for gaseous and particulate pollutants emitted by vehicles equipped with compression-ignition engines and their engines, as well as the emission limits and measurement methods for gaseous pollutants emitted by vehicles equipped with spark-ignition engines fueled by natural gas (NG) or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and their engines. This standard applies to the type-approval, production conformity inspection, emission monitoring of new vehicles, and compliance inspection of in-use vehicles for M2, M3, N1, N2, and N3 classes of vehicles and engines, as well as M1 class vehicles with a total mass exceeding 3,500 kg. The type-approval of complete vehicle models conducted in accordance with this standard can be extended to variants and modified vehicles with a reference mass exceeding 2,380 kg. If M1, M2, N1, and N2 class vehicles equipped with compression-ignition engines or spark-ignition engines fueled by natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas have already undergone type-approval in accordance with GB 18352.6-2016, they do not need to undergo type-approval in accordance with this standard.
