Scope

This standard specifies the measurement method for the actual output speed of copiers or the effective copying rate generated by copiers. This standard applies to ordinary paper copiers equipped with automatic document feeders or having corresponding processing capabilities, and is suitable for single-sided and double-sided copying methods of these machines. This standard is specifically designed for non-digital copiers (usually referring to analog machines using optical lenses). This standard allows for the comparison of the effective copying rates generated under the copier's own various double-sided copying modes.
