Scope

1.O.1 In order to ensure the construction quality and operational function of the automatic fire alarm system, prevent and reduce fire hazards, and protect personal and property safety, this standard is formulated. 1.O.2 This standard applies to the construction, testing, acceptance, and maintenance of automatic fire alarm systems installed in buildings. It does not apply to the construction, testing, acceptance, and maintenance of automatic fire alarm systems installed in places such as the production and storage of gunpowder, explosives, ammunition, and pyrotechnics. 1.O.3 The construction, testing, acceptance, and maintenance of automatic fire alarm systems shall comply with this standard and the provisions of the current relevant national standards.
