Scope

This document describes the methods for determining the sodium content in fertilizers and soil conditioners, including inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry, flame atomic absorption spectrometry, flame atomic emission spectrometry, and flame photometry. This document is applicable to the determination of sodium content in fertilizers and soil conditioners. In this document, the detection limit of inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry is 2 mg/kg, and the quantitative limit is 6 mg/kg; the detection limit of flame atomic absorption spectrometry and flame atomic emission spectrometry is 30 mg/kg, and the quantitative limit is 100 mg/kg; the detection limit of flame photometry is 60 mg/kg, and the quantitative limit is 200 mg/kg.
