Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements for the prevention and control of debris on spacecraft, as well as the requirements for the prevention and control of debris during the design, assembly, testing, experimentation, packaging, transportation, and launch site operations of spacecraft (hereinafter referred to as the development process).
