Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification and grades, technical requirements, test methods, quality assessment procedures, packaging, marking, storage, transportation, and quality certificates of carbon slurry. This document is applicable to carbon slurry made mainly from coke, anthracite, artificial or natural graphite as raw materials, with resin, coal tar, etc. as binders, and supplemented with other additives. It is used for the construction and filling of carbon bricks (blocks) in blast furnaces, mineral heat furnaces, and other industrial kilns
