Scope

This document specifies the method of designating the steel wire rod for high-strength steel solid welding wire, the content of the order, the manufacturing process, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This document is applicable to the steel wire rod (gas shielded welding wire and submerged arc welding wire) with a nominal diameter of 5.5mm to 6.5mm, and the minimum tensile strength of the metal deposited during welding is not less than 550MPa.
