Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions, symbols, classification, models, manufacturing processes, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, and storage of hot-dip steel wires used in super-large span cable-stayed bridges. This document is applicable to hot-dip steel wires used in the main cables and suspension cables of suspension bridges with a main span of over 1,000 meters, and in the stay cables of cable-stayed bridges with a main span of over 800 meters. Hot-dip steel wires used in other bridges and structures can be used for reference
