GB/T 21206-2007 Characteristics of line post insulators

Scope

This standard applies to line-post insulators used in AC overhead lines with a rated voltage higher than 1000V and a frequency not exceeding 100Hz. This standard applies to top-tied line-post insulators installed vertically or horizontally (Figure 1), as well as to top-clamp line-post insulators installed vertically (Figure 4) and horizontally (Figure 5). This standard applies to line-post insulators used in overhead lines located in clean or moderately polluted areas, which have a standard creepage distance, and to line-post insulators used in polluted areas, which have a longer creepage distance. Note: In the future, this standard may be considered for promotion for use with glass insulators.
