Scope

This document specifies the method of designating the steel plate used for the shell of aluminum electrolytic cells, the content of the order, dimensions, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This document is applicable to the manufacture of aluminum electrolytic cell shells and their associated steel structures using steel plates with a thickness of 6 mm to 60 mm.
