Scope
This standard specifies the procedures for the wet magnetic particle inspection of rolling bearing parts (hereinafter referred to as "parts").
This standard is applicable to the magnetic particle inspection of surface and near-surface defects in bearing parts (including blanks, semi-finished products, finished products, and in-service repair parts) made of ferromagnetic materials.
