Scope
This standard specifies the basic characteristics of curved-tooth timing belts and pulleys of six models, including H8M, H14M, R8M, R14M, S8M, and S14M. These characteristics include: tooth size, tooth pitch, belt length and width, belt length measurement method, pulley groove dimensions and limit deviations, pulley diameter, pulley width dimensions and limit deviations, and the form and position tolerances of pulleys.
This standard is applicable to general industrial timing belt drives.
