Scope
1.1 This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage and transportation requirements for self-pressurizing liquid nitrogen containers made of austenitic stainless steel (hereinafter referred to as self-pressurizing containers).
1.2 This standard applies to the design and manufacture of self-pressurizing containers with a working pressure of less than 0.1 MPa, an effective volume of 50 L to 800 L, and high-vacuum multi-layer insulation for storing and transporting liquid nitrogen.
1.3 This standard does not apply to self-pressurizing containers in the following scope:
——Pressurized storage of liquid nitrogen;
——Storage of other cryogenic liquids such as liquid oxygen.
