GB/T 16957-2012 Clad teel plates—Mechanical technical tests on welded joints

Scope

This standard specifies the tensile, bending, impact, and hardness test methods for welded joints of composite steel plates (hereinafter referred to as welded joints).
This standard applies to welded joints of rolled, explosive, surfaced, cast, explosive-rolled, surfaced-rolled, and cast-rolled single- and double-sided composite steel plates with a total thickness of not less than 8 mm, used in pressure vessels, nuclear reactors, storage tanks, ships, and other applications, where the base material is steel and the cladding material is stainless steel or non-ferrous metals. The mechanical and process performance tests of these welded joints can also be conducted for composite steel plates with a total thickness of less than 8 mm and other metal composite plate welded joints.
