Scope
This part of GB/T 4315 specifies general guidelines for the structure and application of optical transfer function (OTF) measurement devices for imaging systems. It describes various important factors that may affect OTF measurement, and sets out general rules for the performance requirements of measurement devices and environmental control. It also stipulates the key points that must be noted to ensure accurate measurement, as well as correction factors for the measured data. The optical transfer function measurement devices described in this part are limited to analyzing the radiation distribution on the image plane of the tested optical imaging system. These devices do not include instruments based on interferometers.
