DB36/ 788-2014 Rules for Periodic Inspection of the Regular Pressureless Tank Body of Road Transport Hazardous Goods Tanker Vehicles

Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements, inspection items, safety checks, tank inspection, additional inspections, defect handling, and evaluation of inspection results for the regular inspection of low-pressure tanks (hereinafter referred to as "tanks") of tank vehicles for the road transport of liquid dangerous goods.
This standard applies to the regular inspection of tanks and their accessories, which are used for transporting liquid dangerous goods, have a working pressure of less than 0.1 MPa (gauge pressure, hereinafter the same), and are made of metal materials or non-metallic materials such as polyethylene plastics, polyvinyl chloride plastics, polypropylene plastics, and fiberglass reinforced plastics, and are permanently connected to standardized automobile chassis or semi-trailer frames. It does not apply to vacuum insulated structure tanks or tanks for military equipment with special requirements.
Note 1: The liquid dangerous goods referred to in this standard refer to the dangerous goods media in GB 18564.1 and GB 18564.2. For media beyond its scope, if their physical and chemical properties are similar to those of the media mentioned in the standard, they can refer to this standard for implementation.
Note 2: For other tank vehicles transporting non-liquid dangerous goods, if the user requires tank inspection, they can refer to this standard to conduct regular inspections by entrusting inspection agencies.
