GB 18564.1-2006 Road tanker for dangerous liquid goods transportation—Part 1:Technical requirements of atmospheric pressure metal tank
Basic Information
Scope
1.1 This part specifies the technical requirements for the design, manufacture, testing methods, factory inspection, painting and marking, and regular inspection items of metal atmospheric pressure tanks (hereinafter referred to as tanks) for road transport of liquid dangerous goods. 1.2 This part applies to tanks made of metal materials, which are used to transport liquid dangerous goods with a working pressure of less than 0.1 MPa, and are permanently connected to standardized automobile chassis or semi-trailer frames. 1.3 This part applies to the media listed in Appendix A. For media beyond the scope of Appendix A, if their physical and chemical properties are similar to those of the media in Appendix A, this part may be referenced for implementation. 1.4 This part does not apply to tanks made of non-metallic materials, vacuum insulated structure tanks, or tanks for military equipment with special requirements. 1.5 For tanks that cannot be designed in accordance with this part, the following design methods are allowed, but they must be evaluated and approved by units recognized by the national competent authorities: — Stress analysis, including finite element method; — Verification experimental analysis (such as experimental stress analysis, verification hydraulic test); — Comparative empirical design using comparable structures that have already been put into use.
