This standard specifies the technical requirements, quality assurance, packaging, marking, and storage requirements for non-Newtonian fluid-type deicing and anti-icing fluids Type II, III, and IV used for deicing and anti-icing of aircraft on the ground (hereinafter referred to as deicing fluids).
This standard applies to the production and use of deicing fluids.
