Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for non-Newtonian fluids (ISO Type II) used for deicing and anti-icing on the outer surfaces of aircraft parked on the ground, as well as the minimum requirements for test laboratories and test procedures necessary to complete anti-icing performance tests. Note: Products that meet this standard will have adverse effects if mixed with other deicing and anti-icing fluids.
